Concrete and Asphalt Preparation

Concrete and Asphalt Preparation in Central Oregon

Excavation, shaped subgrade, aggregate base, grading, and compaction before asphalt paving or concrete installation.

Frey Excavation prepares sites and aggregate bases for asphalt paving and concrete work in Central Oregon. The preparation scope can include excavation to the planned depth, removal of unsuitable material when included, subgrade shaping, drainage considerations, aggregate or base-rock placement, grading, and compaction.

For asphalt areas, the work prepares driveways, access areas, or other defined surfaces for the paving contractor. Concrete preparation can support house slabs, garages, patios, walkways, driveways, and other planned concrete areas. Frey Excavation does not represent that it paves asphalt or pours or finishes concrete.

For the broader access route before pavement preparation begins, see Driveways and Access Roads.

Projects that need wider cut, fill, or site shaping may also involve Site Preparation and Grading.

Where water movement affects the planned surface, review Drainage and Culverts as part of the project scope.

Preparation may be one part of a larger Commercial Excavation scope for contractors, builders, property owners, or project teams.

For home sites and other residential work, see how this preparation can coordinate with Residential Excavation.
